Ubiquiti UniFi • USW-24-POE-EU
A rack-ready balance of connections and power.
UniFi Standard 24 PoE combines 24 Gigabit copper connections and two 1G SFP interfaces in a fanless 1U switch. Sixteen RJ45 ports can power compatible devices, sharing a 95W PoE budget, while eight further ports connect ordinary data endpoints.

Ports with clear roles
Connect the room without confusing the power.
Ports 1–16 provide 10/100/1000 Ethernet and 802.3af/at PoE output. Ports 17–24 are Gigabit data connections, and SFP ports 25–26 accept compatible 1Gbps Ethernet modules. These are 1G SFP interfaces rather than 10G SFP+ uplinks; choose the upstream design for the traffic the site needs.
PoE planning
Share the budget across the powered devices.
The total available PoE is 95W. Ubiquiti lists per-port PSE ceilings of 15.4W in PoE mode and 32W in PoE+ mode, with lower power arriving at the endpoint after cable loss. Those port limits cannot all be supplied simultaneously. Add the connected devices’ requirements and leave suitable headroom before deploying cameras or access points.
Switching and segmentation
Keep local traffic organised.
Manufacturer ratings are 52Gbps switching capacity, 26Gbps non-blocking throughput and approximately 39 million packets per second forwarding. They describe aggregate switching, not the speed of one port. VLANs, LACP, STP/RSTP, IGMP snooping and access controls give the managed Layer 2 network tools for segmentation and loop-aware deployment.
Rack and power
Leave the fanless enclosure breathing room.
The steel enclosure occupies 1U in a standard 19-inch rack. Its internal 120W supply accepts 100–240V AC at 50/60Hz. Maximum consumption is 25W excluding PoE output and 120W including it; the endpoint PoE budget remains 95W. Follow the guide’s spacing instructions and do not stack equipment on the chassis.
Management and ownership
Keep the exact Standard model in view.
The current manufacturer requirement is UniFi Network 7.2.94 or later. A 1.3-inch touchscreen and port indicators provide local status alongside Ethernet management. This is the Standard USW-24-POE, not the Pro or Pro Max model. Confirm the supplied mains plug suits the installation and retain purchase and serial records for the supplied warranty.
