PXN • VD6 • PC sim racing
Bring steering feel to the centre of the race.
A direct drive base. A round wheel. Two pedals and a desk mount. This PXN bundle brings the main driving controls together around the VD6’s 6Nm constant and 7Nm peak torque rating. Build a considered PC racing setup, then tune the steering and pedals to the car and game you actually drive.

Direct drive feedback
The motor drives the steering shaft directly.
The VD6 uses a low-inertia servo motor and a 24-bit magnetic encoder to deliver force feedback through the wheel. Constant 6Nm and peak 7Nm are different ratings: the peak figure is not a sustained torque claim. Set feedback strength in PXN SimRacing and the game, starting conservatively. Steering weight and road detail depend on the simulation, its settings and the mounting arrangement; there is no promised lap-time or competitive advantage.
A familiar driving position
A round wheel with controls within reach.
The 280mm round wheel keeps ABXY controls, a directional pad and rotary controls close to the grip. PXN’s W AS resources explain the quick-release attachment and software configuration. Set button assignments for the chosen game and test the wheel after pairing. The round wheel pictured is this bundle’s listed configuration; the larger GT ONE and W DS / W CS alternatives are not included.
Throttle and braking
Two pedals. A clear starting point.
The full-metal PD HM pedal set uses Hall-effect sensing for throttle and brake input. It is a dual-pedal configuration, so a separate clutch pedal is not included and no clutch-control promise applies to the supplied two pedals. PXN SimRacing provides pedal-curve adjustment. Secure the assembly before use, follow the matching pedal manual for connection and calibration, and keep hands clear of the mechanisms. A clutch upgrade requires the appropriate compatible add-on, purchased separately.
Desk installation
Plan the mount before the first session.
This local catalogue bundle specifies the Z9 clamp, and the product image shows a two-screw desk-mount arrangement. PXN lists Z9 support for desktops up to 70mm thick. Thickness alone does not establish a safe fit: check the underside, edge shape, desktop strength and space for the base and cables. Secure the assembly according to the supplied instructions and recheck fasteners. PXN’s current global VD6 package instead names a Z8 clamp; that different package is not a replacement for this SKU’s locally listed Z9 configuration.
PC setup and tuning
Connect, calibrate, then configure.
Connect the VD6 power supply and its USB-C PC port using the supplied PC cable. Keep clear of the wheel during its automatic start-up calibration. PXN SimRacing provides the configuration path for steering, feedback and control settings. Review the exact device and hardware revision before selecting firmware, and follow PXN’s current instructions rather than installing an unrelated model’s update. The VD6 is a Windows PC system; Xbox, PlayStation and Switch support from other PXN products does not transfer to this bundle.
Know what you are building
The driving controls, with room to plan the rest.
The local package lists a VD6 base, round steering wheel, PD HM dual pedal set, mounting clamp, PC cable, power adapter and user manual. A PC, display, racing game, cockpit, separate shifter, handbrake and clutch are not listed as included. Allow for secure pedal placement, power access and room around the wheel. This bundle lists a 12-month warranty. Match the supplied labels and manual before ordering accessories or relying on measurements from another bundle revision.
