Give your growing collection a place.
Keep large file collections together on a desktop drive that connects by USB. The 20TB Seagate Expansion STKP20000400 pairs a black enclosure with external power, straightforward file transfer and Windows and Mac support. Check the operating-system requirements, regional warranty and usable-capacity conditions when planning your storage.

Storage that stays at the desk
Make room for the next project.
A 20TB capacity gives files, photographs and project folders a dedicated home outside the computer. Use it as part of an organised storage plan, keeping another independent copy of irreplaceable material. Capacity is specified in decimal terabytes; formatting and the operating system’s measurement can reduce the figure shown as available.
A simple connection
Power first. Then connect.
Connect the included power supply and USB cable to use the drive. This is an externally powered desktop hard disk rather than a pocket drive powered only by USB. The USB 3.0 interface supports a nominal 5Gbps link; that interface rate is not a guaranteed sustained file-transfer speed.
Windows and Mac
Choose the format for the task.
The manufacturer lists Windows 10 or later and Mac OS X 10.12 or later, subject to the computer’s configuration. Ordinary drag-and-drop storage does not require installing additional software. Reformatting may be needed for Time Machine; protect existing files before changing the drive format.
Desktop footprint
Keep the supplied detail close.
The black enclosure measures 178.75 × 41.9 × 125mm and weighs 1.176kg. The supplied set includes a USB 3.0 Type-A cable, power adapter and quick-start guide. Leave practical access to the connections when placing it beside a computer.
Support and coverage
Use the region and serial when checking service.
The exact STKP20000400 entry in Seagate’s EMEA datasheet carries a two-year limited warranty, matching the supplier’s 24-month listing. Terms and serial eligibility apply. Rescue Data Recovery Services are listed with the drive but are not available in every country; confirm local eligibility rather than treating recovery as a guaranteed result.
