Ubiquiti UniFi • UK-ULTRA
A small access point, with several ways to place it.
The UniFi Swiss Army Knife is a compact indoor/outdoor WiFi 5 access point with dual-band 2×2 radios, a Gigabit uplink and PoE power. Its internal antenna and two external-antenna connectors give the deployment room to adapt, while its shape supports wall, ceiling, pole and accessory-assisted tabletop placement.

Wireless links
Match the coverage to the clients.
Manufacturer maximum PHY rates are 866.7Mbps on 5GHz with 80MHz channels and 300Mbps on 2.4GHz with 40MHz channels. They are radio link rates, not assured internet or application throughput. The single Gigabit Ethernet port connects the AP to the wired network, with the client radio, interference and placement setting the usable wireless result.

PoE connection
Bring data and power to the mounting point.
The RJ45 uplink also receives PoE power, with a supported 44–57V DC range and up to 8W device consumption. Choose compatible PoE equipment for the installation. Keep the cable entry and protection arrangement consistent with the exact installation guide, particularly when the cable is routed outdoors.

Mounting choices
Use the position the site needs.
The enclosure measures 137 × 84 × 34mm and weighs 173g. Ceiling, wall and pole placement are supported, with table use requiring the appropriate accessory and the desktop stand optional. The primary pole-mount range is 25–50mm diameter. Check the selected support and accessory requirements before fixing the AP in place.

Antenna options
Choose the radiation pattern deliberately.
The AP has an internal antenna and two RP-SMA connectors for supported external antennas. Optional long-range antenna choices are separate purchases; their presence in the product ecosystem does not mean an antenna kit is included here. Select the permitted antenna and radio country settings for the coverage pattern and regulatory limits at the site.
Weather and operating conditions
A rating with installation conditions.
The UV-stabilised polycarbonate enclosure carries an IPX6 weather rating. It is not a claim of immersion protection. The specified operating range is −40–60°C with 5–95% noncondensing humidity. Follow mounting, cable and connector-protection instructions, and do not treat a weather rating as a substitute for correct installation.
UniFi management
Keep the radio plan in one place.
The current manufacturer application requirement is UniFi Network 7.5.187 or later. Band steering, meshing, client isolation, guest functions and supported roaming controls can be configured for the site. Ubiquiti’s 115m² coverage and 200+ client figures are planning guidance, not guarantees for every building or workload.
