Dell Pro Precision 7 T1 Desktop PC
A focused workstation. Room to develop.
This Dell Pro Precision 7 T1 PW7T1260 configuration pairs a 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 265 with NVIDIA RTX A1000 8GB graphics, 16GB DDR5 and a 512GB PCIe Gen4 SSD. Windows 11 Pro, a wired keyboard and mouse, and the supplied three-year ProSupport service specification complete the working setup.

Processor
Twenty cores, with a defined platform.
The Core Ultra 7 265 provides 20 cores and 20 threads, 30MB cache and a maximum turbo clock of 5.3GHz. Dell’s exact-model brochure specifies 2.4GHz to 5.3GHz for this 65W processor option. Its dedicated NPU can serve compatible AI software; acceleration depends on the application. The 65W processor rating does not describe total workstation power draw.
Professional graphics
Dedicated memory for the visual workload.
NVIDIA RTX A1000 graphics brings 8GB GDDR6 dedicated graphics memory to this build. It is a specific supplied card, rather than a promise of the larger RTX options offered elsewhere in the range. Check the software vendor’s exact application and driver requirements before specifying a CAD, rendering or multi-display workflow; no benchmark or application certification is inferred for this order code.
Memory
One module now. Four positions in the platform.
The supplied 16GB is one DDR5 module rated up to 5600MT/s. Dell documents four UDIMM slots and a 128GB ceiling. Population matters: two-module supported configurations reach up to 5600MT/s, four 8GB or 16GB modules up to 4800MT/s, and four 32GB modules up to 4400MT/s. Confirm the Service Tag, matched modules and installation sequence before expanding.
Storage and expansion
Keep the capacity plan specific.
A 512GB M.2 2230 TLC PCIe Gen4 SSD is supplied. The platform documents three SSD positions: one M.2 2230 and two M.2 2230/2280, plus a 3.5-inch SATA hard-drive position. Brackets, thermal components, cables and drive combinations depend on the build. PCIe expansion includes Gen4 ×16, Gen3 ×1 and an open-ended Gen3 ×4 slot; a fourth Gen3 ×4 position requires the optional expansion board. The installed graphics card occupies expansion space.
Front and rear I/O
Useful access, without assuming optional ports.
The front provides USB-C at 20Gbps, USB-A at 10Gbps, two USB-A 2.0 ports including PowerShare, and a headset jack. The rear platform includes Gigabit Ethernet, three USB-A at 5Gbps, two USB-A 2.0, USB-C at 10Gbps and three DisplayPort 1.4a connections. Motherboard display outputs and graphics-card outputs are distinct; confirm active display routing. Thunderbolt, additional network interfaces, serial, SD reader and optical drive are options, not established parts of this supplied configuration.
Power and physical fit
Plan the tower and its upgrade budget together.
Dell identifies the chassis as a 15-litre tower, with reference dimensions of 324.3mm high, 154mm wide and 293mm deep. Published configuration weight ranges from 4.61kg to 7.56kg. The installed PSU wattage is not stated in this order specification; confirm its label and available connectors before a graphics or storage upgrade. Wireless and internal speakers are likewise not confirmed as supplied.
Windows and security
Professional Windows, with hardware trust enabled.
Windows 11 Pro and an enabled discrete TPM are part of the supplied specification. The included keyboard is the black Dell KB216 with US International QWERTY layout, paired with a black wired MS116 mouse. Additional Microsoft Office licences, paid security services, remote-management entitlements and wireless hardware should be confirmed separately.
Service
Support begins with the actual entitlement.
The supplied listing specifies 36 months of ProSupport Next Business Day Onsite Service after remote diagnosis, with hardware and software support. Onsite dispatch follows Dell diagnosis and applicable coverage conditions, and availability varies by location. Confirm the delivered Service Tag and registered entitlement; this is not an unconditional next-day repair promise.
