ASUS TUF Gaming • TUF-GAMING-1000P
A solid foundation for the next build.
1000W of fully modular ATX 3.1 power, with Platinum efficiency certification, a native 12V-2x6 graphics cable and a compact 150mm-deep body. The TUF Gaming Platinum design brings GaN switching, active cooling and a carefully specified cable set together.

A foundation for the build
Power planned around your system.
A 1000W total DC rating provides the starting point for choosing a gaming PC power supply. Check the combined requirements of your processor, graphics card, storage and cooling, then allow appropriate headroom. A wattage rating alone does not establish compatibility with every build.
Conversion with purpose
Platinum efficiency. GaN at its core.
The TUF Gaming 1000W Platinum combines GaN MOSFET technology with 80 PLUS Platinum and Cybenetics Platinum efficiency certification. These describe its power-conversion design and tested efficiency class; actual wall consumption varies with system load and operating conditions.
Modern graphics connections
One native 16-pin route. Three traditional PCIe cables.
ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 support come with a 675mm 16-pin-to-16-pin 12V-2x6 cable. Three separate 675mm 8-pin-to-6+2-pin PCIe cables serve compatible cards using conventional power inputs. Check your exact card, its power budget and case clearance, and follow ASUS instructions for fully seating the connectors.
Connect what you need
A deliberate cable layout.
Fully modular embossed cables let you leave unused runs out of the case. The set includes a 610mm motherboard lead, two 750mm CPU leads, six SATA connectors across two cables and three peripheral connectors on one cable. Three TUF Gaming ties help organise the finished routing.
Cooling and construction
A fan that keeps moving.
A 135mm dual-ball-bearing fan provides active cooling. ASUS specifies that this model has no 0dB technology, so it should not be selected on the assumption that the fan stops at low load. TUF 5K metallic capacitors and a protective PCB coating are part of its durability-focused construction; the coating is not an outdoor or waterproof rating. The model-linked ASUS Quick Start Guide specifies an operating environment of 0–40°C and 20–80% relative humidity.
Protection within the platform
Six defined electrical safeguards.
Over-power, over-voltage, under-voltage, short-circuit, over-current and over-temperature protection are listed for this exact model. These protections complement correct installation and an appropriate power source. They do not turn the supply into a battery backup or guarantee protection against every mains event.
Fit before installation
150mm body. Room for the cables.
The black ATX12V enclosure measures 150 × 150 × 86mm and the PSU alone weighs 1.51kg. Check the case PSU bay and leave room for the modular plugs and cable routing. The retained image shows the 1000W unit and packaging; its box inset illustrates another wattage in the Platinum family, rather than a second supplied PSU.
