Ubiquiti · U-PoE+
Power one device. Keep your switch.
U-PoE+ brings AC-powered PoE+ to a compatible UniFi endpoint, with up to 30 W of output and a Gigabit Ethernet data path. Use a dedicated injector when the upstream network connection is available but switch PoE power is not.

A separate power source
Add power where the LAN already reaches.
U-PoE+ combines a wired data feed with up to 30 W of PoE+ output for a compatible UniFi device. It can supply one endpoint without relying on spare PoE capacity in the upstream switch; it does not create extra Ethernet ports.
The right data path
Gigabit data. Dedicated power.
The U-PoE+ provides a Gigabit LAN connection alongside the power feed. Keep the data input and PoE output roles clear; for a specified 2.5 GbE installation, select the separate 2.5G model instead.
Installation matters
Check the device before applying power.
This is an always-on passive power source, according to Ubiquiti’s PoE guidance. Match the endpoint’s voltage, power and pin requirements, and never connect the powered output to an ordinary non-PoE computer or printer. The input is rated for 100–240 V AC and the power lead must provide earth ground.
Compact by design
Small enclosure. Clearly defined limits.
A 93 × 62 × 35 mm white enclosure weighs 156 g. A status LED helps monitor the adapter, while surge, peak-pulse and overcurrent protection are built in. Plan installation within the specified 0–40°C operating range; these protections do not replace a correctly grounded installation.
Use the data-input socket for the network source and the powered output only for a confirmed compatible PoE device. Ubiquiti states its PoE adapters supply passive, always-on voltage without negotiation. Check voltage, polarity/pinout and required power; this is not a universal power source for ordinary Ethernet equipment. The 30 W rating is injector output capacity, not guaranteed power after cable losses. EU regional SKU does not establish South African plug suitability or warranty duration.
