Capture the detail. Keep work moving.
A barcode, an item record and a clear view of the next task belong together. This TC53e configuration combines the SE4720 1D/2D imager with a six-inch Full HD+ touch display, 6GB of memory and 64GB of flash storage. The ROW WLAN model is built around on-site Wi-Fi workflows, with front and rear cameras and a removable 4,680mAh battery.

Data capture
Bring scanning into the workflow.
The standard-range SE4720 scan engine reads 1D and 2D barcodes, while dedicated scan buttons keep capture close at hand. Integrated NFC provides another supported contactless interface. This exact configuration uses SE4720; the SE55 advanced-range engine and integrated UHF RFID belong to other configurations.

A clearer working view
Room for the record, not just the code.
The six-inch, 1080 × 2160 display provides space for forms, item information and task lists. Multimode capacitive touch accepts a bare or gloved fingertip and a compatible conductive stylus, sold separately. Water-droplet rejection and Gorilla Glass are practical details for handling the device throughout a shift.
Connected on site
Plan around the wireless network.
Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 support the TC53e platform, with USB-C providing a wired connection. Actual wireless bands depend on regional regulations and certification, and the network must support the intended service. This WLAN model does not inherit the cellular 5G and SIM capabilities of the TC58e.
Battery handling
Swap deliberately. Resume the task.
The supplied configuration lists the standard 4,680mAh battery and warm-swap operation. Follow the product guide’s battery replacement procedure; warm swap must not be presented as uninterrupted true hot swap. Extended, BLE and wireless-charge battery choices are separate configurations or accessories, not assumed contents of this listing.
Cameras and communication
Record more than a barcode.
A 16MP autofocus rear camera and 8MP front camera complement the imager. The TC53e platform includes microphones with noise suppression and dual speakers. Android with Google Mobile Services supports the application environment; check the supported Android version and any software licence or support-contract requirements before deployment.
Built for handling
Ruggedness with the conditions kept clear.
The enclosure is rated IP65 and IP68 with the battery fitted under the applicable sealing tests. The manufacturer lists 1.8m drops to tile over concrete for the stand-alone terminal and 1,000 tumbles at 0.5m at room temperature; higher protected-device ratings require the appropriate boot. These are test ratings, not a guarantee against damage.
