Automatic duplex printing turns multi-page reports and study material into two-sided documents without manually turning each sheet. ISO A4 speeds reach 15 pages per minute in black and 9 in colour; draft and photo jobs use different settings and can take different times.

Four separate ink reservoirs support black text and colour graphics. Borderless printing extends to A4-size media, while the supported media range includes envelopes, cards and suitable photo inkjet papers. Select the correct paper type and weight for each job.

Built-in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi supports a shared wireless setup. Wi-Fi Direct and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 provide other supported connection paths. AirPrint, Mopria Print Service and the HP app offer mobile workflows subject to device, software and network requirements.

The CIS flatbed scans an area up to 216 x 297 mm with optical resolution up to 1200 dpi. Place each original on the glass for scanning or copying; this model has no automatic document feeder. ID-copy controls and reduction or enlargement help with routine paperwork.

Front-facing ink reservoirs make the four-colour system easy to identify. Match replacement bottles to the exact regional printer and follow HP filling instructions.
