HP ProBook 4 G2i • E40XNET • 13.3-inch
A compact frame. A considered workspace.
A 13.3-inch WUXGA notebook with Intel Core 3 304, 16GB LPDDR5x memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro, a non-touch anti-glare screen and USB-C display and power support bring the essential working setup into a compact silver chassis.

A compact working space
More height for the page in front of you.
The 13.3-inch WUXGA screen uses a 1920 × 1200, 16:10 workspace. Its anti-glare IPS panel is rated at 300 nits and 62.5% sRGB coverage. The supplied listing specifies 60Hz; HP confirms the resolution, IPS technology and non-touch design. The extra vertical pixels suit documents and browser pages, while this colour coverage should be considered before choosing it for colour-critical production.
Core 3 Series 3
Five cores. A focused configuration.
Intel Core 3 304 provides five cores and five threads, with a maximum turbo frequency of 4.3GHz and 6MB L3 cache. Integrated Intel Graphics shares the notebook’s memory. Application responsiveness depends on workload, software and power conditions. Intel specifies 1.5GHz Performance-core and 1.4GHz Low Power Efficient-core base frequencies. Its NPU is rated at 15 peak INT8 TOPS, a theoretical processor figure rather than a measured application result; enabled software and features determine actual use.
Memory and SSD
16GB supplied, with upgrade limits to confirm.
The supplied 16GB LPDDR5x memory and 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD are retained from the original listing and matched in capacity by HP’s exact E40XNET page. HP lists memory at 8533 MT/s and describes it as onboard, but also lists one SODIMM. Intel specifies LPDDR5x support up to 7467 MT/s for Core 3 304. The operating rate and upgrade topology therefore need unit-level confirmation; neither an 8533 MT/s operating speed nor an available RAM slot is promised. The native SSD description specifies 2280 Value; HP confirms capacity and interface without independently identifying the installed drive revision.
Desk connections
USB-C with its functions spelled out.
Two USB-C ports provide a 20Gbps signalling rate, USB Power Delivery 3.0 and DisplayPort 2.1. Two powered USB-A ports provide 5Gbps signalling, with HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 Ethernet and a combined headphone/microphone jack alongside. A nano security lock slot provides a physical anchoring point. Port link rates are theoretical interface capabilities, not guaranteed file-transfer speeds; display and docking combinations still need compatible equipment.
Wireless and meetings
A camera, microphones and wireless built in.
HP lists Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE211 2×2 with Bluetooth 6, non-vPro, for E40XNET. The 5MP IR AI camera joins dual microphones enhanced by AI noise reduction and dual stereo speakers with Poly Studio audio. Wireless features depend on the network, drivers and local regulations. AI-labelled hardware and noise reduction do not establish a particular application subscription, feature entitlement or Copilot+ qualification.
Controls and finish
A compact silver notebook for daily use.
The Pike silver aluminium finish is paired with a spill-resistant, backlit keyboard, a multi-touch clickpad and a fingerprint reader. HP lists HP Sure Platform, a thermal sensor and HP Tamper Lock among its input and security provisions. The existing local front-view image shows the compact HP chassis and serves as a model illustration; confirm the delivered regional keyboard layout and exact security setup.
Power and portability
A 48Wh battery. USB-C power in the bag.
The internal HP Long Life three-cell lithium-ion polymer battery is rated at 48Wh, with a listed HP 65W USB-C GaN adapter. HP states charging to 50% in 30 minutes; charging depends on appropriate equipment and operating conditions, and this is not a runtime claim. The battery is not customer-replaceable. Weight starts at 1.27kg excluding the adapter and varies by configuration. Its footprint is 303.1 × 215mm, with HP’s tapered front and rear height ranges detailed in Specifications.
Windows and service
Windows 11 Pro, with an official support route.
Windows 11 Pro is specified on HP’s exact South African E40XNET page. That page separately lists a generic one-year hardware warranty framework and an included HP three-year onsite notebook service; confirm the supplied unit’s entitlement, registration and applicable local terms. Optional extended services are not automatically included.
