Beats Solo 4 pairs a compact on-ear shape with up to 50 hours of listening and a choice of three connections. The Slate Blue finish, adjustable earcups and folding frame make it a practical everyday companion, whether you connect wirelessly or plug in for wired audio.
Made to move
The flex-grip headband and adjustable, angled earcups support the on-ear fit, with UltraPlush cushions forming a passive seal. At 217 g, Solo 4 folds into its supplied case between listening sessions. The design uses passive noise isolation rather than Active Noise Cancelling, so choose the fit and volume to suit your surroundings.
Connection choices
Bluetooth 5.3 provides wireless listening. Connect the included USB-C cable to a compatible source for digital audio and charging, or use the 3.5 mm cable with an analogue output. Analogue listening needs no headphone battery power. High-resolution lossless audio requires supported content and an appropriate wired source; the Bluetooth connection does not deliver lossless audio.
Listen in space
Personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking adds a spatial listening option for supported Apple devices and content. Creating your personal profile requires an iPhone with a TrueDepth camera. Availability depends on the app, source format and device software, so the same effect is not promised for every track or connected system.
Calls and controls
Use the b button for music and calls, the volume rocker for level changes and the multifunction button for power and pairing. Digital beam-forming microphones work with voice-targeting processing for calls. Apple and Android pairing and device-finding features have their own account and software requirements; the official guide covers the available setup path.
Battery and charging
Solo 4 is rated for up to 50 hours on a charge. When the battery is low, a 10-minute Fast Fuel charge provides up to five hours of playback. Those figures come from manufacturer testing and vary with volume, settings, environment and use. Charging uses USB-C; a USB-C power adapter is sold separately.
