ASRock Challenger • Radeon RX 7600
A focused 1080p graphics upgrade. Built to stay composed.
ASRock’s Radeon RX 7600 Challenger 8GB OC pairs AMD RDNA 3 graphics with an 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer and a dual-fan cooler. The black shroud, metal backplate and 269.2 mm card length make it a practical starting point for a carefully planned gaming build, with four display outputs and a single 8-pin power connection.

Gaming and streaming
The RX 7600 story, with realistic expectations.
AMD RDNA 3 architecture, 2,048 stream processors and an 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer form the foundation for 1080p gaming and streaming. The memory runs at an effective 18 Gbps over a 128-bit interface. Frame rates, visual settings and streaming results depend on the game, software, CPU and complete system; the card’s specifications are not a promised benchmark.
Factory clocks
Know what boost and game clocks mean.
This OC model specifies a 1770 MHz base clock, a 2280 MHz game clock and boost up to 2695 MHz. Boost is a maximum reached under suitable burst workloads, rather than a sustained guarantee. Game clock describes expected operation in typical gaming conditions; thermal conditions, application load and power behaviour affect the actual frequency.
Cooling design
Two fans, connected heatpipes and a reinforced back.
ASRock’s striped axial fans move air through the cooler, while Ultra-fit Heatpipe construction improves contact through the cooling assembly. Thermal paste and pads help transfer heat, and the metal backplate supports the PCB. The fans can stop at lower temperatures and resume as temperatures rise; fan-stop operation is conditional, not a promise of silent operation under load.
Displays
Plan around the ports on this card.
The rear bracket provides one HDMI 2.1 output and three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs with DSC, with support for up to four displays. The specified maximum digital resolution is 7680 × 4320. Resolution, refresh rate, colour depth and HDR depend on the display, cable, link mode and software. Multi-display and high-resolution output do not imply every port can drive every maximum mode simultaneously.
Build fit
Check length, clearance and power together.
The card measures 269.2 × 131.8 × 40.3 mm and weighs 640 g. Check case length, adjacent-slot clearance, front radiator or drive-cage space and room for the 8-pin power cable. ASRock recommends a 550 W power supply for the system; the actual requirement depends on the other components and PSU capability. Its PCIe 4.0 x8 interface requires a compatible motherboard slot and firmware configuration.
AMD features
Upscaling and tuning need the right software.
FidelityFX Super Resolution operates in supported games and requires the relevant game integration. Radeon Super Resolution and other driver features depend on the installed AMD Software package and supported operating mode. AMD smart technologies require compatible hardware and platform enablement; installing any Ryzen processor does not automatically enable every feature. ASRock Tweak 2.0 provides optional fan and performance controls where supported.
Installation
Start with the exact GPU and operating system.
Select Radeon RX 7600 and your operating system on AMD’s driver page, read the package requirements and follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Use the ASRock graphics-card installation guide for physical installation, and retain the supplied documentation. Do not flash a BIOS or install software intended for a different card, even if the product names look similar.
