Canyon Darkless GH-9A · RGB stereo headset
The Canyon Darkless GH-9A brings 50 mm stereo drivers, an elastic headband and a flexible microphone into a wired headset for play and conversation. RGB lighting extends across the earcups and headband, with a white LED at the microphone. Its two-metre cable separates USB power for the lighting from the 3.5 mm audio connection.
Sound and listening
Two 50 mm speaker drivers provide stereo output in the full-size, over-ear design. The manufacturer specifies a 20 Hz–20 kHz speaker frequency response and 21 Ω impedance with a ±15% tolerance. Listening character depends on fit, source and volume.
Fit and voice
An elastic headband and soft PU-covered cushions provide the fit, while the omnidirectional microphone sits on a flexible gooseneck. Position the microphone and use the headset’s volume wheel for listening adjustments. The datasheet lists ABS and PU construction and a nominal headset weight of 280 g; comfort remains individual.
Lighting
RGB light follows the earcups and headband, and the microphone has a white LED indicator. Connect USB-A for lighting power and use the separate 3.5 mm connection for sound and microphone.
Connection
Connect the 3.5 mm CTIA plug to a compatible combined headset jack for audio and microphone. For computers with separate headphone and microphone sockets, the manufacturer includes a two-plug 3.5 mm adapter. The USB lead powers lighting and is not presented as a digital USB-audio interface. A USB-C-only device needs an appropriate audio adapter, not just a matching physical plug.
