CORSAIR · LX120-R RGB · BLACK
Build your intake around the light.
Three reverse-rotor 120 mm fans and an included System Hub make this a starting point for a coordinated iCUE LINK intake. The black LX120-R combines controllable cooling with two RGB light loops, without hiding the illuminated face behind the support frame in an intake installation.

INTAKE, RECONSIDERED
Keep the illuminated face in view
The reversed rotor changes which side you see in an intake position. It lets the two RGB rings face the window while drawing fresh air into the enclosure. Plan intake and exhaust paths together: reversing the blade design does not remove the need to check the airflow direction and available 120 mm mounting positions.

CONTROL THE BALANCE
Choose the curve that suits the workload
A 400–2,400 RPM control range gives room to tune the response in iCUE. The static-pressure design is intended for airflow resistance such as filters or radiators. Zero RPM can stop the fans under a suitable configured curve; it is not a promise that every PC will run silently. Published noise and airflow figures describe individual fan ratings, not a tested complete system.

LIGHT WITH INTENT
Two loops. Eighteen addressable LEDs.
Each fan carries 18 RGB LEDs across two light loops. Coordinate colours and animation in iCUE or use the Time Warp effect for a distinctive apparent-motion display. The Magnetic Dome bearing supports the rotor. Lighting effects and fan performance remain configurable through the supported iCUE LINK setup.

STARTER KIT
Three fans and the controller to connect them
This black triple pack includes three LX120-R RGB fans, the iCUE LINK System Hub, four bridge connectors, two LINK cables, power and USB cables, and twelve QuikTurn screws. The Hub still needs power and a motherboard USB connection. Other components pictured in sample builds are not part of this kit.

PLAN THE INSTALLATION
One connection system, with clear requirements
Adjacent fans join using the LINK bridge connectors, with a LINK cable carrying the group to a compatible System Hub. This proprietary connection is different from a standard PWM or ARGB motherboard plug. Keep power off while connecting hardware and hand-tighten the QuikTurn screws. Use the official guide in Downloads for the selected kit and hub.
POWER, WITHOUT GUESSWORK
Budget for the fans and their controller
The manufacturer rates each LX120-R at 12 V DC and 0.4 A. Multiplying those ratings gives 4.8 W per fan, or 14.4 W across the three supplied fans, before System Hub overhead and other linked devices. This is an input-rating calculation rather than a measurement of typical consumption. Size the complete PC power supply around every installed component.
