Platform first
Build on the right memory architecture
Registered ECC memory belongs in a platform that explicitly supports RDIMMs. Check the server or workstation memory guide, CPU support, slot population and approved module list before ordering. This module is not an interchangeable replacement for ordinary desktop UDIMM or laptop SO-DIMM memory.

The programmed DDR4-3200 timings are 22-22-22 at 1.2V. The final transfer rate is set by the host’s memory controller, firmware and installed DIMM arrangement. ECC detection and correction also require support from the complete platform.
