Separate listening and speaking connections.
Add a stereo headphone connection and a separate microphone input through a compatible USB-A host. This black UGREEN adapter keeps the two functions clearly marked: green for headphones or powered speakers, pink for a microphone.

Two distinct audio paths
Plug each connection into its own socket
Use the green 3.5mm output for stereo listening and the pink 3.5mm input for mono microphone recording. The microphone socket supports a three-pole TRS plug; two-pole TS and four-pole TRRS plugs are not supported directly. A headset with one combined TRRS plug needs a correctly wired splitter for separate headphone and microphone connections.
Host and operating system
Check support before choosing the adapter
UGREEN lists Windows 11, 10, 8 and 7, Mac OS, Chrome OS and compatible PS4/PS5 systems. Its plug-and-play claim has an explicit Linux exception: Linux requires a driver. Select the USB audio device in the host or application settings when needed. Support for an operating system does not guarantee every headset, application or console feature.
A compact desktop connection
Keep the jacks within easy reach
The short 15cm lead brings the two audio sockets away from the USB port. USB supplies power, so the adapter does not need a separate power supply. The existing black ABS housing and simple two-jack layout suit a portable computer or a fixed desk setup.
The microphone input is mono; stereo describes the headphone output. UGREEN excludes PS3, Wii, Wii U, Xbox, televisions and cars. A USB port alone does not establish audio compatibility. Audio volume and playback are controlled through the host or compatible headset controls; no controls are built into the adapter housing.
