Newland • NQuire 1500 Mobula II • Landscape kiosk
A larger view of the next interaction.
Bring a form, an item record and a barcode into one fixed touchscreen workspace. The NQuire 1500 Mobula II W4-SL pairs a 15.6-inch Full HD capacitive display with Newland’s CM6x megapixel imager and laser aimer in the landscape configuration. Android 13 with GMS, 4GB RAM and 64GB flash provide the platform for your chosen kiosk application.

Display and input
Give the record room to breathe.
The 1920 × 1080 display and capacitive touch surface provide space for menus, records and data entry. The specified 200-nit brightness should guide placement and visibility assessment. This W4-SL is supplied for landscape use; Newland also describes a portrait configuration and adjustable scanner positioning, which should be set up using the installation guide.

Barcode capture
Read the item, then continue the task.
The CM6x megapixel engine combines 1D and 2D barcode capture with a laser aimer. Newland includes screen-displayed barcodes in its intended scanning use, useful where a workflow presents codes on a phone. Reading distance depends on code type, size and conditions; it is not one universal maximum range.

Connections
Build the station around the network.
Ethernet with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE can carry data and power through an appropriate installation. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2 and the built-in 4G module offer other connection paths, subject to local network support and the chosen service. USB-A, USB-C, microSD and control I/O support integration; consult the electrical and installation guide before wiring external devices.

Mounting and expansion
Specify the hardware around the application.
VESA75 mounting supports the fixed installation. The manufacturer lists a wall bracket and multiplug adapter for W4-SL; a desktop stand, NFC module and magnetic-stripe reader are optional. The optional NFC hardware does not by itself establish payment certification or a ready-to-use payment service.

Managed deployment
A platform for your software.
An 8MP front camera, gravity and infrared sensors complement the touchscreen and imager. Newland’s Ndevor management tools support configuration and device administration. Check the application, permissions, Android support roadmap and network policy for your deployment; this listing does not include a custom kiosk application or an extended service contract.

Everyday installation
Keep the protection rating precise.
The front face is IP54-rated; that rating does not apply to the whole enclosure. The specified operating range is −10°C to50°C, with non-condensing humidity. Plan cable access and mounting around the 380.5 × 246.5 × 33mm housing, follow the installation guide and use approved accessories.
