KVR32N22S8/16 brings 16 GB of DDR4 capacity in one unbuffered, non-ECC desktop DIMM. Its 1Rx8 organisation, 3200 MT/s JEDEC settings and standard 1.2 V operation give you a clear specification to check against the computer, rather than a broad promise of universal compatibility.
SINGLE-MODULE CAPACITY
This ValueRAM part contains eight 2G × 8-bit DRAM components, arranged as a 2G × 64-bit module. It is supplied as one 16 GB DIMM. The 1Rx8 designation describes its internal rank and chip organisation; the memory-channel mode depends on the system and the other modules installed.
STANDARD PROGRAMMED SETTINGS
The on-board SPD stores JEDEC DDR4-3200 settings of CL22-22-22 at 1.2 V. Those are module reference settings, not a guarantee that every computer will run at that rate. Check the processor memory controller, motherboard firmware and supported DIMM population before choosing an upgrade.
THE RIGHT MEMORY CLASS
The 288-pin unbuffered DIMM uses non-ECC memory and 16 Gbit DRAM devices. Match all three characteristics to the system’s supported memory. It is a full-size DIMM rather than a laptop SO-DIMM, and the DDR4 label alone does not establish compatibility with a particular desktop or workstation.
PHYSICAL AND ELECTRICAL DETAIL
Kingston’s exact drawing specifies a 133.35 mm board length and 31.25 mm height. The module uses gold contacts, nominal and dynamic on-die termination, and an SPD EEPROM for its programmed identification and timing data.
